1 Block of Tofu, 450g

1/2 cup Organic Sriracha Chilli Sauce

1/2 cup Organic Black Sesame Seeds

1/2 cup Organic Sesame Seeds, Hulled add more if needed to coat the tofu

1/2 cup Organic Potato Starch Flour


organic spring onions, sliced

Organic Tamari Soy Sauce


1. Tofu has extra moisture that needs to be drained out, you can do this by setting it on a plate, then putting a plate on top of the tofu which will press the liquid out. Alternatively you can use a clean tea towel to wrap the tofu before pressing your plate on top. Leave this to drain for at least 30 minutes which will result in a crispier tofu.

2. Cut your tofu into 2cm wide blocks. Heat your frypan to medium-high and add your choice of oil.

3. Dip both sides of your tofu in your sriracha sauce, then your sesame seeds before finishing off in your potato starch. Do not leave this for too long as water from your tofu will continue to drain, resulting in a soggy tofu!

4. Pan fry your tofu for approximately 3 minutes on each side until golden.

5. Serve with your salad, rice or noodles. Sprinkle spring onion and a drizzle of tamari sauce if needed.
